Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.

  1. Her voice is fine, not the best but it'a fine. Susan Egan and Paige O'Hara will always be Belle but I wanna hear her sing more, auto-tuned or not. I think Emma did a good job and I'm not even a fan of her (nor Harry Potter). And besides, she sounds like a 19 year old here so that's a plus, at least it's kind of accurate. Don't mind the British accent either, it's her take on the song so let's give her a chance.

  2. Emmy Rossum just seems like someone that would have fit the lead role perfect over Emma Watson. Emmy has pipes and can act. And why does the beast look sooo fake? I'm going to keep an open mind but I don't get it, with such a huge budget and the latest technology, how you do you F him up so bad?!!!

  3. Why are people complaining about her voice being digitalised?? Look at those hills! Omg a can't remember a faker background in a movie than the ones in this teaser

  4. Disney, listen up. You guys either need to go back and re-do the music for this film, or you need to dub over Emma's vocals. I was never opposed to Emma in this role, not at all, but after hearing this snippet of music I'm really worried for this film. I'm sure the film will make money, but Emma's vocals sound dull and lifeless and the worst part of all, overproduced. Y'all can debate up and down whether or not she was auto-tuned, but the fact of the matter is that there is quite a bit of digital artifacts that are very present on her vocal track. People can debate what caused this, but the result is the same. A lifeless, hollow, and plastic sounding rendition of a beloved song not unlike the version of tomorrow from the most recent remake of Annie.

  5. I really don't know if I like her singing or not. Either she's killing it or they had to put so many layers of effects on her voice to make her sound good. I love Emma but personally I think they should have cast someone else
